Buspirone
Non-sedating anxiety treatment, not a controlled substance
An anxiolytic that treats generalised anxiety without sedation, dependence or a DEA schedule. It is the reason this platform can treat anxiety at all — the benzodiazepines patients often ask for are Schedule IV and permanently outside what we prescribe.
Our nurse practitioner treats uncomplicated depression and anxiety within primary-care scope. We are not a psychiatric practice. Bipolar disorder, psychosis, eating disorders, substance use disorder, active suicidal thinking and anyone already under a psychiatrist are referred out rather than started here — and we will help you find that care. We also do not prescribe benzodiazepines, stimulants or any other controlled substance.
